Luzzo's is a New York City Italian restaurant that specializes in serving authentic Napoli-style pizza. Chef and owner Michele Luliano has spent years perfecting his pizza dough, which is the key ingredient in truly authentic Italian pizza. Since 2004, Luzzo's has been baking pizzas in some of the few authentic 120-year-old coal ovens left in the city. Also considering that most of the carefully selected ingredients are imported from Italy, it's no wonder that Luzzo's has been voted the best pizza in New York City by multiple media outlets. Luzzo's has a menu of Italian classics other than pizza, and specials such as the pizza fritta, which is fried pizza stuffed with mozzarella, ricotta, tomato sauce, ham and black pepper.
